Winter 2015 Necklace & Bracelet by Christina Miles



"I was asked to create some jewelry with Znetshows' newest porcelain pendants. Once I received them, I put my brain to work. Vintage was the first thought that came to mind. I have a stash of vintage jewelry which I took apart some time ago. I didn't want to do the typical stringing [for the necklace] so I decided to wire up the beads. I created the hammered tin piece as I did with the earrings, then wired up the beads and used some old chain that I had sitting around. This bracelet was lots of fun to put together. I am hooked on memory wire at the moment so I knew what I wanted to do with that! I have this metal chain with sparrows and thought it would be fun to add the sparrow as an added touch. There are birds in the porcelain pieces if you look really close. They are so beautiful."
