"My idea was to create something for a swanky sort of New Year's Eve party or even a formal cocktail party for the holidays. My mother was a marketer in the medical field when I was growing up, and she was always dressed to the nines to attend some sort of swanky party this time of year. Now that I'm grown, while I'm not a marketer, I still end up at a number of those parties. They're usually formal, and statement piece jewelry is definitely an "in" thing."
