Summer 2014 "Summer Days" Bracelet & Earring Set by Amy Severino



"For my summer days set, I was drawn to the tangerine strand of pebbles. They felt so free and relaxed, perfect as a lazy summer day with nothing to do but find sea glass pebbles in the surf... To stay with that free feeling, I went with a free form netting technique with a mix of orange seed beads in my stash, with a dash of 4mm dark orange glass beads, that again were faceted just enough to feel like I could have picked them out of the surf along with the tangerine sea glass pebbles. So as not to be super matchy-matchy, I chose the tangerine teardrop sea glass. The teardrops were more uniform than the pebbles, but I added a variety of the mixed orange seed beads to bring it all together."
