The treat Carnelian and the treated Quartz are spectacular, the carnelian being absolutely fantastic! Charming to look at, and fun! The quartz is much different than what I remember seeing years ago, but it occurred to me that what I saw originally must have been smoky quartz electroplated, as it was very dark material with the gold and rainbow overlay. And, I need to ask; is this a 24K gold electroplate, or what is the source of the electroplating? I mean to work the quartz with pearls, and the carnelian with gold for autumn.
